Dr. Dunkley’s path to excellence in Utah cosmetic surgery began with a rigorous medical education at the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine (KCOM). Following medical school, he completed a demanding five-year residency in Facial Plastic Surgery and Otolaryngology, becoing Board Certified by the American Osteopathic Association.
To further refine his artistry, Dr. Dunkley completed an elite, year-long fellowship dedicated exclusively to Cosmetic Surgery. This intensive training focused on advanced surgical techniques for the entire body. Upon completion, he passed the rigorous certifying examination through the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery or ABCS a non ABMS board, the only medical board focused solely on cosmetic surgery of the face, breast, and body.

Experience:
While training is critical, experience is also valuable for the benefit of our patients. Dr. Dunkley has practiced only cosmetic surgery in Salt Lake City for nearly 20 years. In this time he has treated thousands of patients. In the last 5 years alone he has performed over 600 breast augmentation or lift surgeries, 300 lipsouction cases, 250 tummy tucks and 250 BBL’s. According to Malcom Gladwell’s book Outliers, a person needs over 10,000 hours to be expert at what they do. Dr. Dunkley has well over 10,000 hours and has honed his skills over time to provide the best possible results for his patients.
