These fillers treat static wrinkles, which are wrinkles such as frown lines, marionette lines and lip lines that are visible at all times. These fillers are injected beneath a wrinkle, crease or area where there’s a loss of volume to fill and “plump” the area. The results last six months to a year.
Radiesse
Made of calcium hydroxylapatite microspheres suspended in a water-based gel, Radiesse not only fills the wrinkle but also stimulates the body to produce new collagen for longer-lasting results. It’s best for filling and correcting lines and wrinkles around the nose and mouth such as smile lines, nasolabial folds (from the nose to the corners of the mouth) and marionette lines (corners of the mouth to the chin). Radiesse is one of the longest-lasting wrinkle fillers, lasting for up to two years.
